Counsellor, Couples, Children, Family & Schools.
TYPES OF THERAPY YOU DEAL WITH
Personally my passion and expertise lie with one to one counselling sessions and groupwork in Primary schools with children. Play and art therapy is an important part of my counselling role, meaning I can use creative materials as well as talking as outlets in my sessions.
Level 1, 2 and 3 in counselling. Foundation degree in Counselling. BA Hons, Child Behaviour & Development, Safeguarding and Supervisor.
Over the last ten years, I have supported children and families with many different issues as school facilitator, at often very difficult times in their lives. Issues such as anxiety and stress, family separation and divorce, bereavement, trauma, abuse, attachment difficulties, bullying, challenging behaviour, and children who need support with their confidence and self-esteem, or in building resilience.
WHAT I DO NOW
Alongside working as a facilitator to expand my private working one day a week privately.
I have an extensive tool box of techniques and strategies to use when working with my clients. Each client is individual, as is their journey, my belief is that the approach I use should be tailored specifically to the individual in order to help them to reach their goals and become their best self.
